Watch Over, Regular Life Resumed
Jul. 22nd, 2019 09:51 amWith accidental foresight, I'd picked up a boxset containing the first seven seasons of Game of Thrones just before I caught the flu.
I got over the flu in a little under a week, but by then, I was already kind of hooked so now I've seen seven seasons of GoT in two weeks. I'm uh glad I ship Jaime/Brienne, at least, because most of my other ships turn out not to have that much fic written about them. (I feel disappointed! Isn't the whole point of getting into a big fandom the guarantee of lots of fic for whatever ship your heart desires? Well I guess it's not the whole point, but.)
My other GoT ships: Littlefinger/Catelyn (because I have a Thing for terrible people being in love with good people, particularly when one's a chessmaster and the other one's rather straightforward), Syrio/Jaqen (they're both from Braavos! and uh do things with swords and stuff?), Oberyn/Loras, Jon/Ygritte and Robb/Talisa.
